'Colour and Light' - Charlotte Hird
Wellington watercolour artist Charlotte Hird's exhibition 'Colour and Light' is on in the gallery now. Charlotte has chosen a selection of landform art, Wellington cityscapes and some paintings of Japan, where she and husband Dean regularly visit. Alongside the exhibition is for sale a collection of Charlotte's unframed watercolours. The exhibition runs to 2 September.

September Exhibition - Iwen Yong - 'Painterly Realism'
Iwen Yong's exhibition 'Painterly Realism' opens 5.30pm on 5 September. We're planning a big showcase of Iwen's talent with both Wellington and South Island landscapes, including the one metre square 'Last Light Island Bay' (below) and four other large works 75cm x 100cm, including 'Hooker Valley' (below) plus various smaller size works.
Soon you'll receive an email to the opening and we hope to see you there for what will be one of the gallery's most significant exhibitions of the year.
New Art in the gallery(Left) 'Enlighten' by Monique Jackett and other new art by Paul Vincent and Ashraf Pirinia (below) are on show in the gallery. See all the new paintings in the New Art Page |
Thanks and I hope to see you in the gallery again soon.
