Phil’s paintings are inspired by a lifetime's love of landscape, townscape and
the weather. He paints in oils and watercolours and as well as studio painting,
he enjoys working on location.
Phil also paints some townscapes as they once were years ago, featuring the
buildings and traffic of earlier times, working from photographic records and
other historic data.
